If I need a new guitar strap, I think I'll just go to his stall, and get a long 'belt', but ask him not to attach a buckle, just put a hole through, at each end, where I can attach it to the guitar. My new leather boots, I bought; above my ankle affairs, rather military looking, realy decent thick rubber bottoms, double layered round the ankle area, double lace up set0-up; £9.99, (plus four quie postage mind).
