I stand in awe, absolute awe, of the expounding (love that word) of my peers within this medium. What more must she do for a publisher to snap her up, pay her a small fortune in advance for the book she can obviously write. Their obvious knowledge and abilities of their chosen subjects, call for a publisher's attention. In any case, who would I be to judge composition or sentence structure, or for that matter spelling or grammar, I'm an idiot at it myself. Man, was I happy when that English teacher put a red star on my compositions at school, junior school that is. It took me a long time to find out that it had bad connotations of future failure.

I wonder why no one has thought to create compilations of articles written, in a book, or for that matter eBook. Think about it, there is so much talent within the Street Article group, that selecting what to published within the book, would be the most difficult decision. To get published today by a publishing house, needs a miracle, you must either be married to a King or Queen, and I mean that in the nicest way; or you must have so much money, that you can publish yourself and then spend a fortune on marketing.

Creative writing is an art, one to which I am not blessed, but there are within this group so many that are and it just seems such a loss to the world that they will never be published in a way that they deserve. My peers need more recognition, a "Virgin Books" maybe, some one should contact Branson.

The comments; knowledgeable, encouraging, friendly banter, serious referrals and so much more that's shared. We are our own worse critics or perhaps for myself I'm worried of being criticised?! I don't know really. to be honest I don't really worry much about all that. They're generally all very enjoyable to read.

I can't tell you how often I've hesitated to publish an article and then found it popular after finally publishing it later. That is so true Lemuel, when you consider that most of our reads are probably from within the group, how many outsiders would enjoy the ramblings of others. I enjoy short articles as they have the bite factor that in a short time tells you a lot. Some books with their beginning middle and end can become so broken that one is not sure of the true plot. Picture people on their lunch break wanting just to lose themselves for a half hour how they would enjoy the writings of this forum.

You're very generous, and rightly so, with your evaluation of others but definitely do not under rate your own writing. your personality comes through your writing so clearly and honestly that it simply has to be read. Rob, I was thinking just yesterday that I am spending as much time reading other articles as I am writing them but you know what I learn from each and every one of them. I always look forward to your articles and your comments on my articles.
